Top 10 Scriptures To Memorize

Today I am sharing my favorite Bible verses and what they mean to me. These 10 scriptures are essential and important to remember for everyday life. I would be a complete mess without them.  Share your favorite verse below.


Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. – 1 John 4:7-8

We must love like God. Love like he has loved us and of course in order to truly love we must know him first. God’s love is loving everyone no matter who they are.

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. – Matthew 5:16

Our job is to be the light in all the lives we encounter. Because of you others will see the Lord.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28

Acknowledge him and with his mighty power he will heal you.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. – Psalm 46:1

He is ALWAYS by your side rather you see it or not. In times of trouble except a miracle.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9

You don’t have to be afraid or discouraged because God always brings you out of it and brings something much better that’s part of his plan. He knows that plan even before the conflict.

Give thanks in all circumstances. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

If you think you’re thanking God too much, I promise you’re not. Thank him for everyday you wake up and all ours in the day. He loves to hear it. Everyday is not just another day so thank him even in the ordinary.

When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. – Isaiah 60:22

His timing is always perfect. You have count on him to deliver that prayer when the time is right. When something doesn’t go your way don’t get mad. It just isn’t part of what

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6

He knows the way so lean on him when you’re unsure of the future and he will guide you.

Wherever there is a shadow there’s also light. – Psalm 23:4

When darkness appears there’s always light at the end so stay strong and you will come out of that darkness a better person.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. – Romans 12:2

Don’t get caught up in this world. Stay away from the news media and as much negativity. Block out all the noise. It really matters what and who you’re surrounded by. I can’t express the importance of being around good Christian people. Stay close to the one that’s the light of the world, who created the heavens and the earth.
